Customs & Immigration

Carriacou Marine has been recently been appointed as a Port of Entry for yachts arriving from outside Grenada or Carriacou.

The Carriacou Marine on site Customs & Immigration office is open Monday to Friday from 0800 to 1145 and 1300 to 1600, and from 0900 to 1330 on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays. When departing, you may clear out during normal working hours and leave within 24 hours. For the convenience of both officer and client, we suggest attending the office by 1500 in order to complete formalities before the end of the working day.

Vessels and crew wishing to clear into Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique should proceed directly to anchor with the Q flag clearly visible until the clearance formalities have been completed, or they can dock on our dock (a small charge applies).

Customs Regulations in Grenada Inward clearance must be completed by the captain before any crew member lands.

Grenada has a combined Immigration/Customs/Ports Authority Form to ease the clearance procedures. Click here to download a printable copy and here for an on line version of the form.

Captains should prepare the following:

  • Five copies of the combined Clearance Form (completed with crew information)
  • Immigration cards for crew and passengers landing
  • A port clearance from last port of call
  • ID for crew and passengers – passport or birth certificate

Customs and Immigration at Carriacou Marine now have their own dedicated telephone in their office, please call:  +1 473 443 7273

Outward clearance is also required from Grenada toensure inward clearance in the next country to be visited. Yachts should depart within 24 hours of clearing out.
